- Length of the book
- What level of edit you feel you’re looking for (see my editing page)
- A sample of the writing, ideally at least 5,000 words
- Some background on your journey as a writer
- What you’re writing (or want to write) at present
- Some idea of where you feel you need support, e.g. you have writer’s block, you’re struggling with confidence, you’re in a tangle over structuring
- How you think you’d like to be coached, e.g. on video call, via email
- Some background on why you’d like to write this book
- Genre of the book
- Proposed length of the book (if known)
- Source material (e.g. interviews)
- Intended market (readers)
- Plan for publishing (self-publish / seek publishing contract?)
